To decrease the impact of high cost of Laparoscopic surgery on the financial status of poor people of developing country, there is a trend toward developing affordable treatment models for complex conditions on a fully modern operation theatre. We have done a retrospective study of the initial experience of advanced laparoscopic procedures performed in the Laparoscopy Hospital. Over 10 years, 950 patients underwent free laparoscopic surgery. Data on the nursing postoperative telephone follow-up were available for 600 patients; 62% were successfully contacted. 90% had no complaint.

I was fortunate to have the head of surgery acting as the doctor on call when I had my GB stone attack 5 years ago. Imagine that! Its a great hospital. The ambulance drivers wanted to take me to some general hospital but I said no way, I am going to superspecialized Laparoscopy Hospital. Turns out they get paid by the mile. As for Laparoscopy Hospital, excellent hospital, but I have one criticism — the fu fu customer service. They have customer service reps roamaing the halls handing out magazines. That’s a huge waste of money, patients can bring their own reading material.
The new branch in Gurgaon called as World Laparoscopy Hospital is having very nice infrastructure also. Our family has had nothing but good experiences at World Laparoscopy Hospital. We have had two surgery there and i had an cholecystectomy done there years ago and Dr. Mishra Hanmer and his associates was superb.
